The Auclair Explorer mitts for juniors are high-performance winter essentials designed to keep young adventurers warm and protected during high-energy outdoor play.
These mitts feature a durable shell made from PFAS-free DWR nylon paired with an Auclair-Dry® waterproof and windproof membrane, ensuring hands stay dry even in heavy snow. For customizable warmth, the design includes a technical heat pack pocket with a secure zipper on the back of the hand, allowing for the addition of hand warmers on exceptionally cold days. Rated at a Warmth Level 4, they are insulated with high-loft Fiberfill and lined with soft 100% polyester brushed tricot for all-day comfort.
Safety is prioritized with a reflective Auclair logo for enhanced visibility during low-light conditions, while a textured polyurethane palm provides a reliable grip for holding sleds or ski poles.
Warmth Level: 4 of 5 - Often made of down insulation, these models are very warm, sometimes even too warm for many. This is perfect for extremely cold days where intense winter sports activities are practiced at a minimum as the hands can heavily perspire.
