The Canvas Jr brings the freeride DNA of the adult Canvas line into a junior package. The JR Composite Cap construction is built to take the abuse of a kid skiing every kind of terrain, with a stiffness profile tuned to load and release under junior-specific weight. Shape borrows directly from the freeride parent line, with a wider waist than typical youth all-mountain skis and rocker through the tip and tail for soft-snow capability and creative skiing. The FDT Junior RTL Plate handles the binding interface with adult-style flex transfer scaled down for kid sizes. Like the adult Canvas line, the Canvas Jr ships with topsheet artwork by Penelope Misa, which is a small detail that makes a real difference for groms who care about how their gear looks.
