Tygart On-Snow Demo Registration

Thanks for your interest in our free demo! The demo will take place near the Solitude Base Lodge on Village Run at Okemo Mountain Resort from 9am until 2pm (last ski out at 1:30) on Saturday 3/14/26. This is a completely free Demo, you only need to register to participate. We HIGHLY recommend you pre-register here to save time!

You will need the following to participate in the demo...

  • Driver's License

  • Credit Card (we will hold your card while you ski as a deposit, you will not be able to demo skis without leaving a credit card with us)

  • Your own boots

  • Your own poles

  • Your own clothing/helmet/goggles

 

Helpful tips for a successful demo experience...

  • The Demo runs from 9am - 2pm.

  • The Demo is for skiers 18+ only.

  • Last ski out is at 1:30.

  • Please limit demo time to about 30 minutes/ski so that everyone has a chance to get on equipment.

  • Adjusting demo equipment on your own is strictly prohibited

  • Any damage to demo equipment is solely the responsibility of the person demoing the ski

  • Do not take demo equipment on boxes/rails/or any surface other than snow

  • If equipment is not returned by 2pm, you may be charged the full amount of the replacement cost of the equipment.

Skier Type Description

  • Type I (Cautious Skiing):

    • Description: Beginner to intermediate, prefers slower speeds on gentle to moderate terrain.

    • Settings: Lower than average, allowing for easier, faster release during falls to prevent injury.

    • Ideal for: Beginners or those who prefer to cruise.

  • Type II (Moderate Skiing):

    • Description: Intermediate to advanced, skis at various speeds on diverse terrain.

    • Settings: Average, balanced for safety and performance.

    • Ideal for: Most recreational, all-mountain skiers.

  • Type III (Aggressive Skiing):

    • Description: Advanced to expert, prefers fast speeds and steep terrain.

    • Settings: Higher than average, minimizing premature releases when skiing fast or in heavy moguls.

    • Ideal for: Experienced skiers who prioritize stability over easy release

This is NOT your boot size or shoe size. This measurement will be on your boot, typically on the inside or outside of the heal area, and is usually followed by "mm" for millimeters. Click here to see how to find your boot sole length

LIABILITY WAIVER

I accept for use AS IS the equipment available at this demo, and accept full financial responsibility for the care of the equipment while it is in my possession. I will be responsible for the replacement at full value of any equipment rented under this form, but not returned to the rental facility. I agree to return all rental equipment buy the agreed upon date and time.
