Sizing a Ski Pole
- With your back straight, feet about shoulder width apart, and your forearm held parallel with the ground, the basket of an upside down pole, resting on the ground, should rest upon the webbing between your thumb and index finger.
- Price typically equals durability and performance. Higher cost gets you better materials like more advanced aluminum, composite, or carbon fiber. More grip features such as releasable straps, and tackier grip are also available as the price increases.
