Advanced - Expert
- If you enjoy hitting the biggest features in the park, aggressively carving high speed precision turns, and taking the steepest lines you can find, you will probably benefit from the features of an advanced - expert ski. These skis will be engineered with power, stiffness, and rigidity in mind. You will likely find layered construction with materials like carbon, metal and stiffer woods.
Park
- Park skis are for the skier who prefers to hit the jumps, rails, and jibs. Many park skis will feature twin tips; thicker and more durable edges; and a denser extruded base. More rocker profiles and different shapes are becoming available to suit every skier in the park.
Full Camber
- A full camber ski is a traditional profile giving the ski the highest possible edge contact and grip on piste. The front and rear contact points will be near the tip and tail when unweighted.
- True Twin or ‘Full Twin’ skis are typically designed with the tip and tail having a symmetrical shape, flex, rise, and camber and/or rocker profile (Full camber, rocker/camber/rocker or another hybrid profile). This allows the skier to easily ride backwards or ’switch’. True twins shine in the park, pipe, and even freestyle.
